Project: INDIA - Modular Vocational Training in Karnataka

Place / Time

Bangalore, State of Karnataka, India
August 2011 - December 2013

Description

The aim of the project is to contribute to a coordinated, modular vocational training in the south Indian federal state of Karnataka. Exemplary trainings and Training of Trainers courses are developed exemplarily for two well-chosen professional fields, Retail and Office Administration.

The developed courses are fitted into a vocational training matrix which will list the consecutive levels of vocational training for the two professional fields. In this matrix every other professional field (e. g. Hotel Management) could potentially be fitted in the future.

Through this development process, FORUM is able to contribute to the implementation of the Indian vocational training concept of Modular Employable Skills (MES).
